What is a STAR Binder?
A STAR is a special notebook that your child will carry to and from school every day this year.
STAR is an acronym for Students Taking Academic Responsibilty.
The STAR will keep your child organized and keep you in touch with our classroom.
S.T.A.R. Rules
Take care of your STAR! It will be used all year.
Clean out the classwork pocket every weekend.
Take your STAR home every day and bring it back each morning.
Keep your STAR clean - do not eat or drink in front of your STAR!
Show your STAR to your parents every day! They will be proud of your new responsibility!
STAR "Don'ts":
Do not make any marks or drawings in or on your STAR.
Do not leave your STAR at home, in the car, or at your grandparent's house.
Do not let anyone borrow or tear pages out of your STAR.
Don't put anything in your STAR that does not belong.
